I thought this was a superb question to think about. Here is my answer that results from our current projects:<\/p>\n<p>Low or medium growing companies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lack of differentiating from the competition.<\/li>\n<li>(Not) attracting the target group exactly enough (if they even know what their target group is).<\/li>\n<li>Ego trumps long-term strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Archetypical growth brakes institutionalized in companies departments.<\/li>\n<li>Not knowing where they are on the growth curve and take inappropriate action therefore.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>High growth (or \u00a0companies with a high growth attitude):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Handling high growth with the existing systems \/ processes.<\/li>\n<li>Transferring people from &#8222;normal growth thinking&#8220; to &#8222;high growth thinking&#8220;.<\/li>\n<li>Getting the right people on board.<\/li>\n<li>Convincing their shareholders that the management isn&#8217;t doing a kamikaze ride.<\/li>\n<li>Thinking long-term.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What are the key challenges <strong>you<\/strong> are facing trying to grow <strong>your<\/strong> business?<\/p>\n<p>(c) 2012, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mandat-group.com\/en\/menu\/about\/team\/prof-dr-guido-quelle\/\">Prof. Dr. Guido Quelle<\/a>, Mandat Consulting Group<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of our US colleagues, my friend Chad Barr, recently asked in an international forum what the key challenges of our clients are.
