Pascal Kowsky

Management Consultant

Pascal Kowsky joined Mandat in 2013. He started his career at Mandat as a junior consultant, but his performance in client projects advanced him to management consultant in 2016. The findings of his master’s thesis on growth potential in the value chain of a medium-sized supplier to the plant engineering industry – a member of a larger group of companies – made a lasting impression on the owner and management of this Mandat client company. The master’s thesis has been published as volume 4 in the scholarly book series Mandat Campus edited by Dr. Guido Quelle.

Pascal Kowsky is a Certified Green Project Manager (GPM), a training program that provides a solid foundation for his current target-oriented project work. To deepen his knowledge of production and logistics, Kowsky immediately followed up his bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering with a master’s degree in supply chain management at the SRH University of Applied Sciences in Hamm (Westphalia), graduating at the top of his class.

He uses his integrated perspective, which he honed during his academic training and which has been enhanced by experience in industry and consulting, to show his clients cross-functional connections and thus exploit potential synergies. Pascal’s involvement in Mandat’s Processes and Organization field led him to acquire expertise in the area of digitization as early as 2015, expertise which he systematically continues to expand.

Pascal spent three years working on a wide variety of projects within a global, market-leading technology company. One outstanding example of this work is a process optimization – starting with the initial client inquiry and ending with the preparation of an offer – which led to a much more systematic, effective and efficient process internationally within the company.

A major milestone for Pascal at Mandat was the development of the evaluation logic for the Mandat Growth Indicator®, a globally unique method for the rapid and effective identification of barriers to growth and growth potential in companies. The Mandat Growth Indicator® was the outstanding internal development project at Mandat in 2014.

Pascal is a volunteer in the Dortmund LEO Club Florian. After successfully managing the most important annual project in 2014, he was a member of the board for several years, and in 2017/18 he served as its chairman. Pascal also uses his volunteer commitment to sharpen his expertise in project management, from initialization to implementation.
